The modern Tea pot has come a long way from traditional designs, and that's great news for Tea lovers. Today a number of the Tea pots we sell have a built-in holder for the tea leaves. This means that the leaf can be removed from the hot water thereby avoiding the horrors of the stewed tea. It also makes the Tea pot much simpler to clean.

Follow the tips below to enjoy a delicious cup of Cooper's Tea

-Always use freshly drawn water

-Always warm the Tea pot

-Measure the Tea carefully, one teaspoon will normally make about two cups. However this will vary according to the strength preferred. In general terms large leaf Teas will require more teaspoons than small leaf Teas. Green Teas though need very little Tea, one teaspoon for 6 cups. This also applies to most of the flavoured Teas.

-Allow 3-5 minutes for infusion. Small leaf Teas will infuse quicker than large leaf Teas. Tea bags will also tend to be nearer the 3 minute infusion time

-If you have a Tea pot with a central infusion basket, remove it from the brew

-Where applicable pour milk first

-Serve immediately for a fresh and invigorating drink
